Junior Sous Chef.
Location: Claremont Hotel.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Junior Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in the day to day running of our hotel kitchen. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional to play a key role in delivering high quality food and leading a kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations.
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
Assist with menu development, stock control, ordering, and cost management.
Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff.
Ensure full compliance with food hygiene, HACCP, and health & safety requirements.
Take charge of the kitchen in the Executive Chef and Sous Chef’s absence.
About You:
Proven experience as a Junior Sous Chef or strong Senior Chef de Partie.
Strong leadership and organisational skills.
Passion for food quality and service excellence.
Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen compliance.
Flexible and willing to take on responsibility.
