We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Care Support Workers to join our growing domiciliary care team. This rewarding role involves providing high-quality, person-centred support to individuals within their own homes and supported living environments, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Our services include dementia care, end-of-life care, supported living, learning disability support, companionship, and general daily living assistance. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable adults and committed to delivering respectful and personalised care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and mobility support.
Provide specialist support for individuals living with dementia, Alzheimer’s, and learning disabilities.
Support clients receiving end-of-life and palliative care with compassion and dignity.
Assist with medication administration in line with care plans and company policies.
Prepare meals and support nutritional needs.
Provide companionship and emotional support to promote wellbeing and reduce isolation.
Support with household tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
Assist clients in accessing the community, attending appointments, or social outings.
Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and infection control procedures at all times.
Respond appropriately in emergencies and provide basic first aid when required.
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in domiciliary care, supported living, nursing homes, or similar care settings is desirable.
Experience supporting individuals with dementia, end-of-life care needs, or learning disabilities is advantageous.
Compassionate, patient, and professional approach to care.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic first aid knowledge is beneficial; training can be provided.
A valid driving licence is highly desirable due to the community-based nature of the role.
