We are seeking a support worker to join our bank/relief staff.
We are a family run organisation delivering care to a 43 year old non verbal man with autism & learning disability.
Experience of working in care and with autism is advantageous. Driving licence desirable but not essential. Level 3 in Health & Social Care desirable but not essential. Open to employing students in medicine, nursing and other healthcare professions over the summer holidays.
Client receives 1:1 care 24 hours a day. He needs support with all activities of daily living.
He is fit and active. He goes out for walks (and even runs) every day. Being someone who is active and enjoys outdoors is an advantage.
Shifts are 0830-330pm, 330-930pm, 930pm-830am. We also have 4-6hr shifts as second person on. Timings are more flexible for these shifts but usually 10-2 or 330-730pm.
