Finance Manager

Our client seeks a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to join their team for a 6-month contract. This pivotal role involves leading high-performing teams while developing and implementing robust processes, systems and controls throughout the finance function. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving financial strategy and ensuring adherence to the highest financial principles. Key Responsibilities: Provide full financial management services to various areas within the organisation through effective team engagement and leadership. Develop and implement processes, systems and controls in the finance area to ensure operational excellence. Adhere to sound financial principles while implementing and challenging existing financial frameworks across business areas. Assume responsibility for finance work streams within various project committees, ensuring all financial impacts are considered and implemented within deadlines. Interpret and analyse the impact of business activities on total costs, taking proactive action as required. Implement, manage and review commentary for all monthly financial reporting and approve relevant financial reports. Key Skills and Experience: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification - essential. CIMA qualification preferred but not essential. 5-7 years' experience in Finance & Value Management. Proven experience in financial or management accounting roles. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
