Environment & Regeneration Department – Dilapidation Enforcement Officer.
Grade 6, SCP 24 – 30 (£37,374 – £45,313).
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Dilapidation Enforcement Officer to join our Environment and Regeneration Department and play a key role in helping to maintain and improve the appearance, safety and amenity of the City.
This varied role will involve dealing with dangerous structures, dilapidated and unsightly properties, using a combination of advice, negotiation and enforcement action to ensure buildings and land are brought back to an acceptable condition. You will be a key point of contact for property-related enforcement matters, liaising with owners, members of the public, emergency services, contractors, consultants and other agencies.
