At The Claremont, we pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional dining experience for every guest. We're looking for a confident, hands-on F&B Supervisor to lead our front-of-house team, keep service running smoothly, and help maintain the high standards our guests expect.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As F&B Supervisor, you'll oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure high standards of food quality and customer care, and lead a team delivering excellent service. You'll also be expected to fulfil the duties of a Food & Beverage Assistant, setting the standard for the team by example. You'll report to the Duty Manager / Operations Manager.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Supervising and coordinating daily restaurant operations, ensuring the team performs effectively.
Maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and customer service.
Assisting with training and scheduling front-of-house F&B staff.
Monitoring inventory levels and assisting with ordering supplies.
Handling guest enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally, in person, by phone, and by email.
Managing the booking system, including table allocations, deposits, and pre-orders.
Liaising with the kitchen team on dietary requirements and special requests.
Supporting Conference & Events planning, from enquiries through to on-the-day operations.
Ensuring compliance with food hygiene, health & safety, and risk assessment requirements.
Assisting with financial management, including monitoring wastage and breakages.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Previous experience in a food & beverage or front-of-house supervisory role.
A natural leader who motivates and supports a team.
Excellent customer service skills with a calm, professional manner.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Good working knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety practices.
A flexible, hands-on approach and willingness to work as part of the team.
