Asset Servicing Senior Administrator

We currently have a permanent role available within our Investments Department for an Asset Servicing Senior Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring investment transactions are processed and accurately reflected on client policies following trade execution, helping to maintain accurate valuations and a seamless experience for policyholders and advisers.
Reporting to the Asset Servicing Team Manager, the key responsibilities of the role include:
Manage dividend processing activities, ensuring investment data is maintained accurately and in line with operational controls.
Oversee trade settlement activities, resolve exceptions and support the timely completion of market transactions, including complex cross-border settlements.
Administer corporate actions from notification through to completion, preparing communications and processing customer and adviser instructions accurately and efficiently.
Deliver excellent service to advisers, clients and colleagues by managing queries professionally and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Maintain and update asset records, taking ownership of data quality and supporting the effective administration of investment assets.
Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies, working with custodians and internal stakeholders to maintain accurate financial records.
Support the monitoring and reconciliation of investment cash positions, identifying and resolving queries to ensure data integrity.
Support the Asset Servicing Team Manager with process, procedure and system improvements that enhance operational efficiency and control.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
Experience within an operational, settlements, reconciliation or corporate-action environment
5 GCSEs (or equivalent) grade C or above - including English and Maths
Strong numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing deadlines
Good planning and organisational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Certificate or interest in studying for CISI examinations is advantageous
Previous experience supporting junior colleagues or acting as a process reference point would be beneficial
