A Shift Leader at The Boatyard Restaurant supports the smooth running of service across daytimes, evenings and weekends, working 30–35 hours per week in a mix of shifts. The role involves leading the front?of?house team during service, maintaining high standards of guest care, supporting reservations and table planning, overseeing opening and closing procedures, and ensuring the restaurant remains clean, organised and welcoming. You’ll help train and guide newer team members, communicate clearly with the kitchen, handle guest feedback professionally, and uphold all health, safety and hygiene requirements. We’re looking for someone with solid restaurant or hospitality experience, confidence on the floor, strong communication skills, a calm, positive approach under pressure and a genuine passion for great service.
