Exciting Opportunity - Head of Compliance. Our client is looking for an experienced Head of Compliance who can... Act as the Group Head of Compliance and MLRO in accordance with regulatory requirements. Maintain and oversee the compliance framework across the Group, ensuring ongoing compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements. Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures and controls to support regulatory compliance and corporate governance obligations. Lead the design, implementation and delivery of the annual Compliance Monitoring Programme. Oversee the identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting of regulatory and compliance risks. Ensure the effective operation of systems and controls designed to prevent financial crime, including anti-money laundering, countering the financing of terrorism and sanctions compliance. Provide expert advice and guidance to the Board and senior management on regulatory developments and compliance matters. Act as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities and manage regulatory relationships, inspections, enquiries and reporting. Lead and develop the Compliance function. Provide effective management, support and development for the Compliance Officer. Promote professional development and knowledge sharing across the business. Deliver compliance training and awareness initiatives for employees and management. Act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders on compliance, conduct and regulatory matters. Key skills and experience. Essential. Relevant compliance, governance, risk management, legal or financial services qualification, or equivalent professional experience. Minimum five years; experience in a senior compliance leadership role within a regulated financial services environment. Proven experience acting as MLRO, DMLRO, Compliance Officer or equivalent controlled function. Strong understanding of Isle of Man regulatory requirements, including AML/CFT obligations and corporate governance expectations. Experience dealing directly with regulatory authorities and managing regulatory relationships.Proven experience developing and operating compliance monitoring and risk management frameworks. Strong leadership and people management skills.
