Business Analyst

Are you a commercially minded Business Analyst who thrives on turning ideas into clear requirements and measurable business value? We have an exciting opportunity to join our Group Change Department and play a key role in shaping and delivering change across the business. You will work with project managers, delivery teams, stakeholders and third-party partners to define outcomes, prioritise value and support successful delivery from discovery through to implementation.

The main responsibilities for the role holder will include:

Shaping compelling business cases and clear problem statements that focus delivery on measurable business value and customer outcomes.
Mapping as-is and to-be processes, identifying gaps, dependencies, risks and opportunities for operational improvement.
Eliciting, analysing and documenting clear business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and supporting artefacts for agile and hybrid delivery teams.
Conducting data analysis to uncover opportunities and inform decisions.
Completing gap analysis, impact assessments and options analysis to support informed decision-making and delivery planning.
Providing business analysis support across software development, testing, data migration, upgrades, release readiness and implementation activity.
Collaborating closely with business users, project managers, IT teams, third parties and outsource providers to maintain alignment and delivery momentum.
Supporting sprint refinement, backlog prioritisation, UAT planning, test preparation and business validation to ensure solutions are ready for adoption.
Helping teams embed change by supporting communication, training, adoption planning and continuous improvement.
Mentoring junior members of the team and contributing to best practice within the change team.
