Our client seeks a Project Manager to assist their team on a 12-Month Contract Role Profile: An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Product Office team which supports the delivery of Change Program across the innovative and fast-moving financial services group. This role will be focussed on the successful implementation of a new core investments solution for the business across both the Investment Operations and the Investment Management functions. As Project Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the successful end to end delivery of Projects across the regulated entities within the group of companies. You will be required to work effectively with a wide range of team members including Business Analysts, Developers and 3rd party technical teams, plus key internal stakeholders and external partners to manage the successful delivery of projects on time and to budget as per Project Framework and Risk Management processes. Key Duties: Project planning/roadmaps. Resource planning. Progress tracking. Arrange and prepare agendas for various project meetings. Attend various project meetings and maintaining accurate notes. Recording and monitoring actions agreed in key meetings. Working with key stakeholders to ensure actions are completed to deadlines. Communications with project team members, business customers and 3rd Party Development/Implementation Resource. Progress reporting (including the preparation of Regulatory progress updates as required). Project initiation/closure. Continue to evolve and improve the programme and project management process for ensuring successful delivery. At all times the Group's values should be at the heart of everything and consistency of evidence of adherence to the values will be a key aspect of the role. Key Skills & Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Delivery Manager or Project Manager. Experience of Atlassian JIRA/Confluence and the Microsoft toolset - SharePoint, Project, Excel, Word etc.An appropriate Project Management qualification (e.g. Prince 2, Agile) and/or Service Management qualification (e.g. ITIL) would be preferred.Strong experience/evidence of stakeholder management.Skilled at building trust, managing team dynamics and motivating people to be an effective enabler of change. Experience of coaching and supporting people to embrace changes to their way of working. Ability to self-manage to identify problems, mediate issues, develop solutions, and implement appropriate courses of action. Articulate and credible at a senior level, consistently delivering accurate reporting as to the current state of play regarding the project. Relevant qualification within Project delivery, Lean or Scrum frameworks. Experience delivering high quality digital software projects and products desirable.Ideally, you will have experience working within a Financial Services environment.
