Trainee Advocate

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Trainee Advocate. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate looking to build a rewarding legal career. You will undertake a structured period of training, gaining hands-on experience in various areas of law while working alongside experienced Advocates.r
Key Responsibilities:r
Assisting in the preparation and conduct of legal matters across a range of practice areas including family law, personal injury, medical negligence, criminal litigation and wills and probate.r
Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and research notes.r
Attending court, client meetings, and conferences with counsel.r
Conducting legal research and analysis to support case preparation.r
Supporting business development and client relationship activities where appropriate.r

Requirements:r
A qualifying law or non-law degree (or equivalent).r
Commitment to completing the Manx Bar examinations.r
Strong analytical and communication skills.r
High level of integrity, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.r

Desirable:r
Previous legal or professional services experience is advantageous but not essential.r
