Financial Crime Prevention Specialist | AP26 – Isle of Man.
Our client, a respected international financial services group, is seeking a senior compliance professional to join their Risk & Compliance team as Deputy MLRO (R16 Controlled Function). This high-impact role offers ownership of financial crime risk across multiple jurisdictions and direct influence on Group strategy and governance.
Key responsibilities include maintaining and evolving AML/CFT frameworks, acting as a key contact for regulatory bodies, supporting strategic projects, and embedding robust risk controls. You’ll also lead on disclosures, sanctions responses, and internal reporting.
The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years’ senior financial crime experience (ideally in life assurance or investment sectors), strong knowledge of AML/CFT legislation, and previous R16 status or readiness for approval. Multi-jurisdictional experience and a commercially aware, strategic mindset are essential.
