Manager - Restructuring Advisory

Key Responsibilities:
Restructuring & Insolvency:
Lead the end-to-end delivery of formal appointments, including liquidations, receivership and bankruptcies.
Act as a key liaison for creditors, regulators, directors, legal advisors, and funding institutions.
Financial & Business Advisory:
Lead the preparation of financial models, strategic business reviews, and cash flow forecasts.
Asset & Case Management:
Manage diverse portfolios of distressed corporate assets, including real estate, financial instruments, and receivables.
Design and implement asset realisation plans to maximise stakeholder recoveries.
Compliance & Reporting:
Oversee the drafting of regulatory filings, statutory returns, client updates, and creditor communications.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory obligations.
Support legal processes including claims adjudication, asset tracing, and dispute resolution.
Requirements:
Essential:
ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification (or qualified Insolvency Practitioner).
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in restructuring and insolvency, ideally within a Big 4 or mid-tier professional services firm.
Strong technical knowledge of comparative relevant legislation, eg the Insolvency Act and/or Companies Acts.
Demonstrate project management skills with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple complex assignments.
Proven ability to deliver high-quality written reports, strategic reviews, and financial analysis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
Commercially aware, adaptable, and collaborative team player with a proactive mindset.
Desirable:
JIEB or equivalent qualification, or currently studying towards it.
Familiarity with offshore insolvency regimes or international corporate structures.
Experience working on financial services engagements or cross-border assignments.
Established network of insolvency professionals.
