Our client seeks a Skills Project Lead to assist their team. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the planning, implementation and monitoring of projects under the Skills Strategy, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timelines. Manage project logistics, including budgeting, resourcing and milestone tracking. Work with the Skills Board to prioritise initiatives that address immediate skills shortages and support future workforce needs. Liaise with other agencies and government departments to collate labour market and skills data from internal and external sources. Ensure data is structured and accessible to support Board decision-making. Design and coordinate surveys, focus groups and other methods to gather insight on skills needs. Work with analysts or research partners to interpret findings and inform evidence-based reports. Build strong relationships with employers, educators, training providers, and government teams. Ensure stakeholders are kept informed and involved in key initiatives. Represent the Board in discussions or meetings as required. Coordinate the delivery of key Board initiatives, working with project teams or external partners. Track progress against timelines and goals. Highlight risks or issues that need Board attention. Prepare clear updates, briefing notes, and reports for the Board and stakeholders. Support the delivery of presentations, roundtables, or workshops to associated boards, agencies organisations and departments, where needed. Help communicate the Board's goals, progress, and impact to a wider audience. Key Skills and Experience: Experience of managing and coordinating complex projects involving multiple stakeholders. Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with a wide range of stakeholders. Strong presentational skills. Comfortable working across multiple topics and adapting to new challenges. Good organisational skills, with attention to detail and deadlines. Experience of engaging and building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including employers, educational providers and government bodies. Able to work independently and take initiative. Interest in skills development, economic growth or workforce planning. Experience in producing high-quality written materials for a range of audiences. Commitment to the goals and values of the Isle of Man Skills Strategy.
