Culture Vannin is looking for a confident communicator with marketing and events management experience to engage with the community as Year of the Manx Language Coordinator. The role supports delivery of the Year of the Manx Language, and responsibilities include uploading events to a web-based calendar on https://yearofmanx.im, liaising with the community to develop and promote their events, developing social media channels, and helping to organise events for Culture Vannin. This is a part-time role of 15 hours per week (worked flexibly and a mix of office and home-working welcome) for a fixed term of up to 16 months with the possibility of increasing hours to 22.5 hours per week should further funding be secured. A start date in November 2025 would be advantageous.
There is no requirement to be a Manx speaker, but the role demands an enthusiasm for and positive attitude towards Manx language, culture and community.
