The Store Supervisor for the Douglas stores will support the management team in the day-to-day running of both the Strand Street and Castle Street locations, providing direction and support to the team while maintaining high standards of customer service and store presentation. Responsibilities include supervising and motivating staff, ensuring operational and retail standards are met, handling customer enquiries and complaints, overseeing merchandising and store displays, supporting sales growth, managing daily tasks and stock through back office systems, and performing keyholder duties such as opening, closing and cashing up. The role requires previous retail or supervisory experience, strong leadership and communication skills, a positive and professional customer focused approach, good organisation and multitasking abilities, confident decision making under pressure, and basic IT skills including Microsoft Office.
