Role Profile: The Independent Non-Executive Director (INED) provides independent oversight, strategic guidance, and constructive challenge to the executive leadership of the group, while remaining removed from day-to-day operations. As Chair of the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee, the INED leads the Board's oversight of financial reporting, internal controls, risk management, and regulatory compliance across a multi-jurisdictional financial services group. INEDs are expected to contribute creatively to Board discussions and take decisions objectively in the interests of the Company.
