IT Service Desk Analyst / Batch Operator - 35370

Our client is seeking a temporary IT Service Desk Analyst / Batch Operator for a 6-month fixed-term contract within their IT Service department. The successful candidate will possess strong personal and communication skills, demonstrating a desire to improve processes and the technical acumen to implement enhancements. The role includes the daily resolution of support requests from users both locally on the Isle of Man and internationally, ensuring that the most critical systems are operational to support the growing business. Key responsibilities include providing first- and second-line Service Desk support, addressing incidents, and fulfilling service requests from users across seven countries, while liaising with technical teams and suppliers to ensure swift restoration of service. The role will also involve providing out-of-hours Batch Operator and other operational support on a rota basis. Furthermore, the successful candidate will be tasked with maintaining knowledge articles and policy documentation to the required standards, along with performing general IT duties such as equipment relocation and hardware upgrades.
