Finance Operations Assistant

Our client seeks a Finance Operations Assistant to join their team. Key Responsibilities: Process outgoing payments on behalf of Group companies, communicating with vendors throughout the payment process. Investigate and remediate reconciliation differences in relation to allocated general ledger accounts. Support activities to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures for operational efficiency and risk management. Support servicing areas in addressing any inquiries and questions related to Financial Operations. Ensure that the Financial Operational activities are executed and delivered as per the standards set out by the Company. Maintain and review financial control framework on ALL Financial operations activities. Provide guidance to staff and team-members and assist in providing technical expertise on Financial Operations processes. Assist in implementing audit recommendations (both from Internal and External Audit and Compliance if relevant). Key Skills & Experience: 1+ years in a similar administrative role. Experience in analysis/problem solving/technical writing. Open and Collaborative mindset and the ability to build positive relationships across different departments and levels. A relevant qualification in financial processing (desirable). Good time management & organisational skills. Good proven interpersonal skills and verbally and written communication skills in English. Experience/knowledge of payment processing via banking systems. Competent in Microsoft applications: Including Word, Outlook, SharePoint and Microsoft Excel. Compliance and prevention of money laundering knowledge would be desirable.
