Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Senior Accountant to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified, with at least 4 years’ experience in an accounting environment, and strong knowledge of Isle of Man and UK taxation.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage client bookkeeping and prepare extended trial balances.
Produce management accounts, VAT returns, payroll, and financial statements.
Prepare IOM and UK tax returns for individuals and companies.
Liaise with clients and auditors, ensuring deadlines and expectations are met.
Perform treasury functions and online payments where required.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management and ISO 27001 Information Security standards.
Support cross-selling opportunities and participate in CPD.
Skills & Attributes:
Professional, positive, and self-motivated.
Strong relationship management and communication skills.
Excellent time management and attention to detail.
Team player, but able to work independently.
PC literate, especially Word and Excel; Caseware knowledge advantageous.
Understanding of UK GAAP and, ideally, IFRS.
