After Sales Manager

Van Mossel IOM are pleased to announce a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Aftersales Manager to join our busy team in the Isle of Man.
The Aftersales Manager is responsible for leading all aftersales activities within the dealership, ensuring departments operate efficiently and contribute to the overall objectives of the business. This role focuses on developing the skills of the aftersales team, implementing operating policies, and managing resources to maximise profitability, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Person Specification and Experience Required:
Proven experience managing all aspects of aftersales operations, including service, parts, and customer support functions.
Strong business acumen with experience in budget planning, financial control, and resource management.
Ability to develop and implement operational plans and monitor performance against targets.
Strong knowledge of automotive industry standards and manufacturer requirements.
Experience establishing departmental structures, recruiting staff, and developing teams.
Ability to analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy and decision-making.
Proficient in the use of financial and business management systems to monitor performance and support decision-making.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
Excellent organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strategic thinker with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communicator with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business and with external stakeholders.
Proactive, adaptable, and able to respond to changing business needs while maintaining a focus on results.
Relevant industry qualifications or equivalent experience in automotive aftersales management.
Experience in dealership operations is highly desirable.
