Vibe Plant Based Café & Restaurant is looking for a friendly, confident, and people-focused Front of House team member to join our small, passionate team. This is a varied multitask role within a busy café-restaurant environment, ideal for someone who genuinely loves hospitality, great food, and creating meaningful connections with customers.
At Vibe, we’re all about good vibes, natural wellness, and delicious plant-based eating. We pride ourselves on offering warm, welcoming service and a memorable dining experience, so we’re looking for someone who will represent the heart of Vibe and be the friendly face our customers come to know and love. You’ll need to be naturally people-orientated, with excellent customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with both new visitors and regular guests.
The role involves greeting and looking after customers throughout their visit, serving food and drinks confidently, taking orders at the till and at tables, and answering the phone to deal with enquiries. As we are a small team, we’re looking for someone who can work efficiently across different tasks, including making hot drinks using our barista coffee machine, making smoothies, preparing bar drinks, clearing and resetting tables, using the dishwasher for wash-up, stocking fridges, and keeping the restaurant organised and running smoothly.
General cleaning tasks are also part of the role, including emptying recycling, cleaning floors and toilets at the end of service and preparing the space ready for the next day. Previous experience in a café or restaurant setting is essential, and an interest in plant-based food, wellness, and hospitality is a big plus, as we love team members who enjoy chatting with customers about what we do and why we do it.
Applicants must be aged 18 or over due to alcohol service. The hours include Sunday daytime from 10:30am until 5:00pm, along with one to two evening shifts per week, likely on a Friday and/or Saturday. 6pm- finish .
