We are looking for a reliable, passionate and organised cook to join the team at Henderson and Glass, delivering a focused, South African inspired menu in a fast-paced cocktail-led environment. The role involves preparing and presenting dishes to a consistent standard, managing prep efficiently to minimise waste, maintaining a clean and compliant kitchen, and working closely with the front of house team to ensure smooth service, particularly during busy sittings and events. The ideal candidate will have previous kitchen experience, a strong understanding of food safety and hygiene, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and a positive, team-focused attitude. Experience with simple plating is essential, along with an eye for presentation as dishes are designed to be visually appealing for guests and social media. You should be comfortable working within a streamlined menu, following clear recipes and portion controls, and contributing to a culture focused on consistency, efficiency and continuous improvement.
