Job Purpose:
This is a role for a warm, polished, and proud individual to become the welcoming face of plan.com. Our building is one of the most impressive on the Isle of Man — and you will be the person who brings it to life every single day. As the first point of contact for everyone who walks through our doors, you will set the tone for the plan.com experience from the moment people arrive. This is a role for someone who takes genuine pride in their environment, loves making people feel welcome, and shows up every day with a smile.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Meet & Greet.
Welcome all visitors, clients, and employees in a warm, professional, and genuinely friendly manner.
Manage the front door — ensuring access is secure, controlled, and handled with confidence.
Maintain visitor logs and issue sign-ins in line with building security procedures.
Be the calm, capable first point of contact for anyone entering the building.
Building & Ground Floor Presentation:
Take full ownership of the ground floor — ensuring it is immaculate, visually impressive, and reflective of the plan.com brand at all times.
Bring creativity and pride to the space through seasonal touches, displays, and a consistently high standard of presentation.
Ensure meeting areas on the ground floor are set up and ready as required.
Manage and maintain the tuck shop — keeping it well-stocked, well-presented, and a genuine highlight of the office experience; handle cash. transactions accurately and keep clear records for the finance team.
Curate seasonal and creative décor or themes to enhance the front-of-house experience.
Cast an eye across the wider building throughout the day — flagging anything that isn't looking its best and working with the relevant people to get it resolved; the standard of the building is a shared responsibility, but you will.
Set up refreshments, and hospitality supplies in line with event requirements.
Safety & Compliance:
Maintain an up to date log of First Aid qualified colleagues — tracking certifications and coordinating renewal courses when needed.
Support fire safety procedures having completed company-provided fire safety training.
Ensure all visitor and access procedures are followed consistently.
