New Earth Construction Ltd is looking to recruit two experienced Groundworkers to join our growing team, working on construction projects across the Isle of Man.
This is a skilled groundworks role, suited to candidates with proven experience in civil engineering, construction groundwork, drainage and external works. The position is not suitable for general labourers.
The role will include:
Excavating and preparing footings and service trenches
Installing drainage and underground services
Setting out works
Pouring and finishing concrete slabs and foundations
Laying kerbs, paving and external finishes
Operating plant such as excavators and dumpers
Working safely and efficiently as part of an organised site team
Applicants should have solid groundworks experience, a good understanding of site health and safety, and the ability to work to a high standard. A full driving licence is required. Plant tickets would be beneficial but are not essential for the right candidate.
Pay and benefits:
Pay from £19.50 per hour, depending on experience
