Finance Director

Our client seeks a Finance Director to join their team. This is a pivotal board-level position offering exceptional scope for strategic leadership and genuine influence within a collaborative, high-calibre environment. You will play a key role in corporate strategy, long-term business planning, and the overall effective financial management of the organisation. Key Responsibilities: Lead comprehensive financial reporting including monthly management accounts and annual statements. Drive strategic planning including acquisitions, disposals and business development opportunities. Establish and monitor robust financial controls, risk management frameworks and delegation limits. Provide strategic leadership to the finance function and manage cross-functional project teams. Deliver reliable financial advice and support to the board and executive management. Develop innovative financial reporting systems and implement across the business. Manage finance, legal and debt recovery functions effectively. Ensure full compliance with anti-money laundering regulations and corporate governance standards. Execute company director responsibilities to the highest ethical and legal standards. Key Skills and Experience: Accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent 10+ years senior managerial experience. Proven track record in M&A transactions including acquisitions and disposals. Experience in growing and developing medium-sized entrepreneurial companies. Outstanding leadership abilities with experience directing teams and managing complex projects. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with board-level gravitas. Strong organisational skills and ability to motivate and lead diverse teams. Strategic mindset with ability to translate vision into actionable business plans.
