As a Storekeeper, you will provide an efficient and high-quality stores service, ensuring materials and stock are accurately received, stored, issued, and recorded in line with operational, financial, and health & safety requirements.
Key responsibilities include managing stock and ordering supplies, operating a computerised inventory system, checking deliveries for quality and accuracy, and maintaining organised, safe store areas. The role also involves handling materials, assisting with stocktakes, maintaining records, supporting other store locations when required, and collecting/delivering goods.
You will work collaboratively to meet targets, uphold security and safety standards, and help improve stores processes and practices. Ideal candidates are reliable, team-oriented, computer literate, and experienced in stock control and materials handling. A full driving licence is essential, forklift and overhead crane experience is desirable, although training may be provided for the right candidate.
