HR Manager

The Role.
The HR Manager will be a trusted adviser to the leadership team and employees, acting as the key link between people, managers and leadership. You'll help resolve challenges, strengthen relationships and foster a positive, high-performing culture.
This role goes beyond policies and procedures. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, communicates with empathy and confidence, and can balance individual needs with business objectives.
You will lead recruitment, support talent development and succession planning, and help ensure Ramsey Crookall remains a place where people choose to build long-term careers.
Key Responsibilities
Champion a positive, collaborative and inclusive workplace.
Build trusted relationships across the business.
Support employee engagement, wellbeing and high performance.
Provide practical HR advice to managers.
Manage employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion.
Coach managers and help resolve workplace issues fairly and consistently.
Lead recruitment across the business.
Deliver an excellent candidate experience.
Support interviewing, selection and future talent planning.
Identify future leaders and develop succession plans.
Support learning, coaching and career development opportunities.
Partner with the CEO and leadership team on people strategy.
Support workforce planning, organisational change and continuous improvement
Maintain HR policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with Isle of Man employment legislation.
Oversee performance reviews, HR systems and employee records, and support payroll and benefits.
Skills & Experience
Essential
Experience in a senior HR generalist or HR Manager role.
Strong employee relations and recruitment experience.
Experience developing talent and succession plans.
Excellent communication, emotional intelligence and relationship-building skills.
Strong organisational skills, sound judgement and commercial awareness.
Desirable
CIPD (or equivalent) qualification.
Experience in professional or financial services.
Knowledge of Isle of Man and UK employment legislation.
