Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of projects from mobilisation through to completion. You will be responsible for coordinating project activities, managing programmes, monitoring costs and procurement, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards.

The role will involve preparing cost estimates, managing subcontractors and suppliers, attending site visits and inspections, monitoring progress and identifying and resolving risks and issues. You will provide regular updates to senior management on project costs, programme, risks and opportunities, while maintaining accurate project records and ensuring compliance with health & safety, quality and regulatory requirements.

You will work closely with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal teams, building strong professional relationships and ensuring projects are delivered effectively and to the highest standard.

About You

You will ideally have experience in project management within facilities management, construction, office refurbishments or M&E building services, together with an understanding of cost control, procurement and contract administration.

Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, along with excellent attention to detail and confidence using Excel and producing clear reports. You will be proactive, commercially aware and able to manage multiple live projects, make decisions, resolve issues and escalate where appropriate.

An interest or experience in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) services and maintenance is advantageous. Familiarity with Isle of Man construction standards and/or a relevant qualification or professional pathway such as Construction Management, RICS or CIOB would also be beneficial.
