Andreas Meats is looking for a reliable and hard working Factory Operative to join our busy production team. This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in a wide range of tasks across the factory.
Key responsibilities: Assisting in all areas of production, including sausage making, bacon curing, pork leg production etc, Packing and preparing products to a high standard. Weighing out and mixing sausage batches accurately. Maintaining a keen eye for detail to ensure consistency and quality. Completing daily HACCP sheets (Must be able to read and write English) Supporting the team with general factory duties and daily cleaning.
Requirements: Physically fit- the role involves lifting, Willing to work flexibly and assist in different parts of production. Butchery skills or previous food production experience (advantageous) Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification (desirable, training can be provided), Full driving licence (advantageous due to location at Andreas Airfield and early starts), Able to reliability start work at 6am, Positive, team- focused attitude.
