R & B Catering Ltd is seeking an experienced Takeaway Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy takeaway. The role involves managing kitchen and takeaway operations, supervising and supporting staff, preparing rotas, ordering stock and maintaining inventory levels, ensuring compliance with food hygiene and health and safety regulations, training and performance management, maintaining till and cash records, delivering excellent customer service, handling customer enquiries and complaints professionally, and liaising with suppliers and relevant local authorities where required.
Applicants should have previous experience in a restaurant or takeaway management role, strong leadership and organisational skills, a good understanding of food hygiene and health and safety requirements, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of customer service.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with a salary of £26,000–£28,000 per annum, depending on experience. Flexibility is essential, as the successful candidate will be required to work evenings, weekends, late nights, public holidays, and other peak trading periods. Availability to work throughout the Isle of Man TT, Manx Grand Prix, Christmas, Easter, and other exceptionally busy periods is an essential requirement of the role, as is the ability to confidently manage customer interactions during busy service hours.
