Night Porter:
Comis Hotel & Golf Resort | Santon, Isle of Man
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Hours: 40 hours per week, including weekends and bank holidays
We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Night Porter to join our team at Comis Hotel & Golf Resort.
You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our four-star hotel overnight, providing excellent guest service and maintaining high standards of security, cleanliness and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome late arrivals and assist with early departures.
Handle guest enquiries, reservations and payments.
Carry out regular security and safety checks throughout the hotel.
Respond to guest requests, incidents and emergencies.
Complete basic cleaning duties and prepare the breakfast area for morning service.
Carry out routine administrative duties and maintain accurate overnight records.
About You:
Previous experience in hospitality, hotel reception or a similar customer-facing role, ideally three years.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Reliable, organised and confident working independently overnight.
Good computer skills; experience using hotel reservation systems is desirable.
Able to respond calmly and professionally to unexpected situations.
Flexible to work overnight shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
