Property Manager / Guest House Manager

The Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of accommodation, primarily supporting employee housing. The role focuses on coordinating occupancy, managing transitions of staff moving in and out, and ensuring the property is maintained to a high standard while delivering a smooth and efficient living experience.
Accommodation & Occupancy Management:
Manage all room allocations and occupancy planning
Coordinate move-ins and move-outs.
Maintain an up-to-date accommodation tracker (availability, bookings, and residents).
Provision of meals to residents and handling stock management.
Employee Liaison:
Act as the main point of contact for residents.
Support onboarding of new arrivals into accommodation.
Handle queries, issues, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
Operations & Property Oversight:
Ensure the property is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.
Conduct regular inspections of rooms and communal areas.
Coordinate housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance services.
Maintenance & Facilities:
Report and manage repairs and maintenance issues.
Liaise with contractors and service providers.
Ensure all facilities are fully operational and fit for purpose.
Administration & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of occupancy and payments.
Prepare simple reports such as timelines for accommodation transitions.
Keep accurate records of all out of pocket expenses.
Compliance & Health & Safety:
Ensure compliance with local housing regulations and company policies.
Maintain health and safety standards across the property.
Conduct risk assessments where require.
Skills & Experience:
Experience in property management, accommodation management, or hospitality.
Strong organisational and planning skills (especially scheduling and coordination).
Ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve conflicts.
Good communication skills, with experience working with diverse teams.
Competent in Microsoft Excel or similar systems for tracking occupancy.
