Ronaldsway Aircraft Company is a complex aerospace machining business, manufacturing mainly strangers and aliens for both civil and military customers. Ronaldsway has a large variety of processes, including CNC machining, electroplating, heat treatment, metal finishing, paint, tool room and press shop.
Responsible for the end-to-end supply chain operations for the Company. Success in this position means creating an agile, efficient and scalable Supply Chain function for our aerospace customers.
The role will require the leader to own the supply chain across Procurement, Production Planning, Inventory Manager and Logistics in the Isle of Man. The role will provide the opportunity to build processes and structure to the support the business as it looks to future growth.
This is a senior, hands-on role suited to someone who is comfortable operating in a changing environment – building structure where it doesn’t yet exist, while still staying close to day-to-day execution. You will be responsible for ensuring continuity of supply, building scalable processes, and supporting the business as it grows. You will work closely with Production, Finance, Engineering, Quality and Commercial teams and will manage and develop the Supply Chain function over time.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate considerable experience in Supply Chain ideally within a Manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have the ability to demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of supply chain and have the ability to support the wider business with efficient and effective process. Essential to this role is a solid understanding and knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation and leadership techniques.
This role holds accountability for supplier performance, sourcing strategy, cost optimisation, and operational excellence across all supply chain activities. The postholder will build and maintain strong internal and external relationships, drive continuous improvement, and ensure supply chain resilience within a highly regulated aerospace manufacturing environment.
