An opportunity for a seasoned audit professional ready to step into a Director-level role and take genuine ownership of a Financial Services Audit practice on the Isle of Man. This is a rare chance to lead from the front, combining strategic practice development with hands-on client leadership across a prestigious and varied portfolio spanning banking, insurance, funds and other regulated financial services sectors. You will be the trusted advisor of choice for Boards, Audit Committees and Senior Management teams, overseeing the end-to-end delivery of complex audit engagements to the highest professional standards whilst ensuring full compliance with ISA, IFRS and UK GAAP requirements. Equally important will be your ability to drive commercial growth, identify new business opportunities, lead pitches and proposals, expand existing client relationships and contribute meaningfully to fee negotiations and portfolio development. You will inspire and develop a talented audit team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability and continuous improvement, and playing an active role in succession planning and talent development across the practice. Collaboration will be key, working across advisory and tax service lines and representing the business at industry events and within the wider Isle of Man financial services community. The ideal candidate will be ACA, ACCA or CA qualified with extensive financial services audit experience, strong technical knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP, and a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and winning new business.
