How would you describe it to someone who has never been?

Typical Island Life with a good work life balance and a wonderful array of physical activities to indulge in.

 

Tell us about your job – what do you enjoy most about it?

My job entails providing reasonable assurance over the usability of financial information wrapped in financial statements. I love the people I work with and the constant personal development the job brings.

 

Do you feel there is career opportunities for you on the Isle of Man?

Yes. There are loads of opportunities in the finance sector!

 

How was your experience moving to the Isle of Man?

I moved with my wife and it was a fairly straightforward process, Visas received timely. My office arranged our flights so that definitely eased the travel logistics.

 

What difference has living on the Isle of Man made to your work-life balance? How do you spend your free time?

I moved directly from Lagos, Nigeria and moving to the Isle of man cut my daily commute time by 95%. In my free time, I play organised football with a local football club and hang out with my family & friends.

What’s the best-kept secret on the Isle of Man?

There are so many beautiful places to see. You have to make a list!

 

What opportunities has living on the Isle of Man given you /your family?

A better standard of living, a place with almost zero crime and a career portfolio that matches my interests.

 

Why would you recommend the Isle of Man to others looking to relocate and what would be your top tips?

  • Perfectly located from major UK Cities which means you can have the needed occasional city buzz.
  • Great environment for work.
  • Summer is absolutely stunning with fancy beaches in the West and South.
  • If you love speed and motorbikes, the TT is the most dearing motorbike race in the world! It is a spectacle to behold!
